I have been wanting to share our QuicKutz Club projects on here. This was last month's project. We made a candy bar cover. You know those big Dove bars in cardboard wrappers. We used the cardboard wrapper as a template to make one of out cardstock paper, then decorated it. I love this idea for a birthday you want to acknowledge more than a card, but not spend a ton of cash!
For this project I used two 4x4 dies. Happy Birthday REV-0157 and the Cupcake REV-0160.
Below is a card we also made last month. We used the nesting balloons, the word celebrate from the basic phrases and the label from the Jolly Gift Set (still my favorite thing in that set)!
Finally next picture(below) is the projects we are making at our next club meeting. (My club members will be shocked that I am so organized to post this ahead of time.) We are making two Easter baskets and an Easter card. The one basket uses the Nesting Flowers and the new 3D Butterfly Shape RS-0919. The other uses the Nesting Flowers and a 2x2 Rabbit RS-0889. The card uses the Nesting Circles, Spring Shapes, the Happy Birthday ShortKutz and the NEW Supermarket 4x8 Font. I don't think you can tell but I also used the new adhesive vellum (circles are cut behind the letters and small shapes.)
OK, I am hoping to get back in my scrapbook room in the next day or two. Can't wait to share more!
