Who's Reading?

OK, so what the heck? I have decided that not only am I a bad blog slacker, I am also a boring blogger. Let's shake things up a little huh?

How about a little poll? What is your favorite scrapbooking product right now? Yup, you have to pick one!

Let's shake it up a little more.  The first 10 people who respond to this question with the answer and their mailing address will receive a FREE gift  from ME!  Yup, good old fashion mail, fun mail and I'm not gonna tell you what it is so it will be a complete surprise! How fun is that?

To answer my own question...this is hard since I haven't scrapbooked for myself in soooo long, but mine favorite thing right now is my new Ranger Paint Dabbers. I took that class from Tim Holtz and loved them. Plus I got the orange color, which right now is also my favorite. Curious about them, well they should be arriving at the store sometime in the near future. As far as I know, it is the only other thing I have coming NEW right now, besides 1 more shipment of Making Memories in May sometime. Oh, and the continuous new QuicKutz stuff, that alway arrives. More about that later!

Let's see who's reading...

Packing and Moving!

No, not the store, but my house.  We are putting our house on the market this week. Right now we live in a townhouse and we are anxious to own a single family home with some property for Gabe to run and play. He loves to be outdoors. Oh, the cleaning, purging and organizing I have done in the last 2 weeks. If you have moved, you understand. I have learned some things this time after moving.  1) Kids create clutter. Two of our storage areas are full of baby stuff and clothes. It is amazing how much stuff a 2 1/2 year old can collect. I am not a pack rack by any means, but jeez. Tons of stuff I am not ready to part with. 2) The cleanest my house has been since we moved in is right now, why is that now that we are moving? I mean that is sort of crummy you know. 3) Keeping a house clean with a 2.5 year old in it is virtually impossible. Yesterday I was frantically doing last minute clean ups in the kitchen cuz the realtor was coming to take pictures...I went upstairs to find Gabe. He was sitting in the middle of a huge pile of random scrapbook supplies, which he pulled out of my drawers. I just spent 2 days organizing all my stuff again. Needless to say, I was quite angry. But, what are you going to do. Now I wish I had a picture of him sitting in the stuff, but at the time, it just wasn't a picture moment. 4) I HATE MOVING! I already knew this one, but it is all coming back to me. You see we have land to build our dream log house, so I always thought in the back of my head that we would have one more move to that house and that would be it. Well, here we are...5 years later, life sort of got in the way of our dream right now, which is fine, but know I know I have to move 2 more times. You see, before I moved back to PA, I moved A TON of times in a short period of time. And with each time, we have more stuff and less help. It stinks! OK, I'm done with this one, cuz I could go on and on for days!

We don't know exactly where we are moving to yet, but we have been looking. We are looking at two more houses on Wednesday. Hopefully we will find something soon. Praying for a smooth transition of selling our house and find a new one and moving in. You know how the timing of that can go. Wish us luck!

Happy Easter!

I just had to post a few pictures. We still have on more destination tonight, but we came home for naps, and all of us had one. This is a great photo of Gabe and his cousins. They are all almost looking at the camera. The best shot of about 30.

Easterkids

This one is good too. (Although they look a little sad!)

OK...here are the kids I know.

Sort of bummed there were no outside shots for Easter Egg Hunts this year. But it was WAAAAAY to cold. Bunny delivered eggs on the inside. Perhaps I'll post some more tomorrow.

WOW! NEW STUFF

Sorry I have been a slacker, but man, I have been spending a LOT of time at the store receiving in new products. Seriously, hours and hours. We got stuff from Making Memories (2 shipments), EK Success, Heidi Swapp, Queen & Company, Basic Grey, Luxe Designs, Maya Road, Tinkering Ink, BoBunny, Karen Foster, American Crafts and Scenic Route. (That is just what I remember.) I am still waiting for Junkitz, Ranger Paint Dabbers and something else that I can't remember right now. Now, I just need to find some time to play with it all. If you haven't been to the store in awhile. It is time. And you may need to come a few times to take it all in!!!!

Also, two weekends ago I was at a retailer show in Boston. I took some great classes, met some great people and even got to take classes from Tim Holtz. That was a great experience. Here we are...

Meandtimholtz

How fun was that. I am excited to share some new great ideas and techniques. Be sure to check them out in my upcoming classes!
